What is actually going on
The WMY line is a Beko washer line covering the models set out in the table below. Across these machines the service record is dominated by the drain path — the filter, the hose and the pump — with door-lock faults a clear second.
The problem classes on these models

- The cycle takes far longer than it should — A programme that overruns is reporting a supply or heating problem in the only way it can. No separate page covers it in this set, so the first move is simple: check the inlet filter at the tap end of the hose for grit.

- Laundry comes out wetter than it used to — A spin that never reaches full speed leaves the load heavy, and the usual cause is an unbalanced drum rather than a failing motor. The line between a fix and a call
On these models the owner line is the filter aperture and the machine’s feet. Filters, hoses, taps, levelling, loading and maintenance washes are all owner work. Bearings, the tub seal, the door lock assembly and the control board are not, because all of them need the cabinet opened.
