What is actually going on

Problems on this line, and where each is covered

The causes, ranked
- Cycle stops or will not finish — First, and by a distance. The machine has failed one of the checks it runs continuously. The phase it stops in names which one.
- Noise or vibration — Then this. A rattle is usually a coin in the sump; a roar rising with the spin is the drum bearing.
- Leaking water — Third most likely. Water at the front during a cycle is the boot, the drawer or the filter cover; water at the rear is the supply hoses.
- Will not drain — Less common than the three above. A cycle that ends with a full drum. The filter is the first suspect and it is owner work.

When this becomes a service call
