- Low-voltage protection acting as designed — first by a distance: the unit reports and stops to protect the battery, and the owner sees a fault where the design sees a correct decision
- The DC supply path — a marginal socket, a long cable or a worn plug produces a panel that flickers, resets or refuses commands while the electronics themselves are healthy

Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Do not spray any cleaner directly at a control panel or a display — spray a cloth instead. When to stop and call a technician
Call for service when the panel stays dark on a proven live outlet, when a code returns immediately after a full power cycle, or when the control reports a sensor fault.
