The short answer

- NEAR MISS: the cabinet is silent and nothing is cold — That is a no-power or start fault rather than an airflow one, and the running-but-not-cooling logic on this page does not apply.
Causes, most likely first
- A frosted evaporator from a stalled defrost cycle — First on the BFTF line because the adaptive defrost on this platform degrades before it fails: the ice builds quietly over weeks, airflow falls away, and the owner notices the warmth long before they notice the frost. - A failed evaporator fan motor — Second because the fan sits behind the freezer rear panel and is the part that wears on these cabinets.
