The short version
The Beko BFTF refrigerator family shares a single-evaporator layout and a narrow defrost drain, and between them those two features account for the first two entries in the problem list below.
What goes wrong, and where to read about it
- The fresh-food side is warm while the unit keeps running — The family signature and the leading complaint. A stalled defrost cycle icing the evaporator, or a failed evaporator fan, account for most of it. See Beko BFTF Refrigerator: Running But Not Cooling.

What happens most, on this line
- Cooling faults — The largest share of reports on this family. The single-evaporator layout means airflow problems warm the fresh-food compartment first and leave the freezer apparently healthy for days.
- Water inside or under the cabinet — Second, and frequently downstream of the first: the frost that restricts airflow also overloads the defrost drain, so the two faults often arrive together.
- Ice production problems — Third. The fill tube passes into a compartment held below freezing, so any restriction upstream ends as a frozen tube and a maker that appears dead.
- Noise — Fourth and usually the cheapest. A fan blade against ice, an unlevel cabinet or a loose drip tray account for nearly all of it.

When to book a visit
The owner boundary on this family is the freezer rear panel. The fan test, the vents, the seals, the drain entry, the drip tray, the condenser and the ice-maker water path are all reachable; the evaporator and the sealed system are not.
