Call when a thermometer confirms the cabinet is cold and the alarm persists, because that points at the sensor or the board. Call urgently when the cabinet is warm and the machine is not recovering. On an older freezer ask about board and sensor availability before agreeing, since parts supply usually decides the outcome.
