What owning an integrated cabinet is like

Nearly every problem on this platform traces back to the housing, the coupling or the drain rather than to the refrigeration itself. - Ventilation faults built into the housing — Why ranked: Named first because an integrated appliance can only reject heat up its duct, and that duct is built by someone else and is invisible afterwards.
- Door coupling and furniture-door weight — Why ranked: Second: two doors bolted together, one of which seals and one of which does not, is the defining mechanical arrangement of this platform.
- Condensate drainage — Why ranked: Third. A small drain hole in the rear wall is the single most common source of water inside a statically cooled cabinet.
- Concealed services — Why ranked: Fourth - a socket inside the joinery is switched off or knocked out far more often than anyone expects, because nobody can see it.

When this becomes a service call
Sealed-system and refrigerant work is licensed work and never an owner repair. Anything needing the appliance drawn out of its housing needs two people, and often a technician. Clearing the plinth vent, the drain hole and the condenser, and checking level and coupling, are all owner work. A cabinet that cannot hold with a clear duct, a clean coil and a good seal needs a technician rather than more cleaning.
