Straight answer first
A leaking Comfee CERT refrigerator is usually a drainage problem, because every cabinet makes water on purpose and has one narrow path to get rid of it. The whole drain path here is short and narrow, which is why it blocks so readily. Work from the puddle back along the path rather than opening panels at random.
What the owner sees and hears
- One corner sits high — Rocking also breaks the door seal, which adds humidity to the problem.
- Moisture beading on the liner — Check the gasket on all four sides — a single lazy corner is enough.
- Water sitting under the bottom shelf — That is a blocked drain nine times out of ten, with the water backing up where it should be leaving.
- Water on the floor at the back — If your model has a water line, this is where the plumbing lives.
- NEAR MISS — nothing is cooling — A warm cabinet with water in it is a cooling fault first: the water is the thawed frost.
What it usually turns out to be, in order
- Melt water backing up — It ranks top because the failure is inevitable on an unserviced cabinet — a year of food film closes a hole this size.
- A forward lean sending water out — It ranks this high because it decides whether you see the fault at all, and it is free to correct.
- Door seal passing warm air — Ranked above the mechanical causes because a paper strip settles it and it is very common on older cabinets.
- Evaporation tray not holding — Common enough to check whenever the unit has been moved, cleaned behind, or transported.
The order to work in
- Lift the drawers out and look at the drain channel — Flush it gently with warm water and watch whether it takes — standing water names the fault.
- Put a level across the front and along the side — Second because it is a two-minute check and it decides whether backed-up water reaches the floor.
- Work around the gasket looking for gaps — A seal that lets humid air in is a water source in its own right.
- Check the pan over the compressor — Look for a crack, a tilt, or a tray sitting off its rails rather than just for water.

Get help moving it rather than walking it on a wet floor. Pull the plug before mopping under or behind the unit — a wet floor and a live cord is the hazard here. Treat the water damage as the first problem and the leak as the second.
