Because documentation for this badge is thin and the install is rarely checked, the outlet and the plug come first, and the relay is the part most often found at fault once power is proven. A unit that clicks every few minutes and stops is the classic relay symptom.
How the fault presents
- The display shows a showroom or demo indicator — A mode that keeps the lights and display alive while the cooling is disabled.
- It runs for a while after being unplugged and plugged back in, then stops — A thermal overload resetting as it cools, which fits a relay or a cooling fault.
- A faint hum with no cooling and a warm compressor — The compressor is being asked to start and cannot.
- Interior light and display work but nothing cools — A setting, demo mode, the relay or the control, rather than the supply.
- NEAR MISS: the cabinet warm with the compressor clearly running — That is a cooling failure rather than a start failure, and the cooling page applies.

- Control board or inverter failed — First, and by a clear margin: a failed control, or an inverter on a variable-speed compressor, stops the appliance with the lights still on and cannot be confirmed from outside.
