The short answer
An Elisii machine with a code or an unresponsive panel is usually reporting a sensor out of range, holding a latched fault, or sitting in a mode somebody enabled. Showroom or demo mode is the one owners never guess: it keeps the display and light working with the cooling disabled. Because these machines are installed by whoever unboxes them, settings and a single full reset come before any part.
What the machine is telling you
- A repeating code on the display — Note it exactly, along with which compartment is affected.
- Buttons do nothing although the display is lit — Control lock, demo mode, or a latched fault.
- An alarm sounding with no obvious cause — Usually a door switch or a temperature excursion the control recorded.
- NEAR MISS: a display that flashes while the appliance is first cooling down — Many builds indicate the cool-down after delivery or a power cut. Give it a day.
Causes, most likely first
- A latched fault the control is still holding — Most likely on this platform: controls hold a fault after the condition has passed, so the appliance looks broken when the event is already over.
- Showroom or demo mode, control lock, or a setting — Second: a control lock does the same for the buttons, and both survive unplugging, which is why they are eliminated before anything else.
- Temperature sensor out of range — Less often, third: a thermistor that has drifted or failed makes the control act on a temperature the cabinet does not have, which produces codes, wrong displays and odd running.
Check in this order
- Power down fully for a few minutes, then watch for the code to return — A code that comes straight back is live; one that does not was latched.
- Look for a lock, demo or showroom indicator and clear it — The manual gives the key combination; it is usually a long press on two keys.
- Compare the display with a thermometer in the cabinet — A large disagreement points at the sensor rather than the cooling.

- Write the code down exactly, with which compartment is affected — Letters and digits as shown, plus what the cabinet is doing.

When this becomes a service call
Call once demo mode and any lock are cleared, one full reset has not held, the display has been checked against a thermometer and the cabinet is genuinely cold. What remains needs the console off and the code read against the data for your build. Call sooner if the appliance is not holding temperature, whatever the display says.
