What this usually means
No ice from an Elisii machine has four usual explanations: the water is not arriving, the fill tube has frozen, the freezer is not cold enough, or the arm or switch is in the off position. Because these machines are installed by whoever unboxes them, start at the supply and work inwards. The ice-maker module itself is the last thing to suspect rather than the first.
How the fault presents
- Ice forms but tastes or smells wrong — An overdue filter or long-stored ice rather than a production fault.
- The freezer is not as cold as it should be — Address the cooling first: ice production stops long before food spoils.
- The bin is empty and the ice maker is silent — No water arriving, or the arm or switch is off.
- NEAR MISS: a new installation that has not filled yet — A newly connected unit takes hours to produce its first ice, and the first batches are normally discarded.
Likely causes in order of odds
- Fill tube or water line frozen — First, and by a clear margin: it is a very common fault and it usually has a cause behind it: a slow fill, a leaking valve or a door that is not sealing properly.
- Water supply closed, kinked or never connected — Second most likely here: the shut-off valve behind or below the appliance is easy to close by accident and easy to forget, and a line crushed when the unit was pushed back does the same thing.
- Ice maker switched off, or the arm held up by the bin — Less often, third: it is free to rule out and it is the explanation a surprising number of times, especially after the bin has been emptied or moved.
Where to start, and what follows
- Look for an ice ridge at the fill point above the mould — That visual is most of the diagnosis, and it explains a silent ice maker.
- Find the shut-off valve and confirm it is open, then inspect the line — Look for kinks where the appliance was pushed back against the wall.
- Check the on-off switch and that the arm moves freely — Remove and refit the bin squarely, then watch for a fill.
Owner-side checks, step by step
- Check the bin is not simply full and the arm moves freely — Refit the bin squarely; a crooked bin holds the arm up.
About 5 min
- Find the shut-off valve and confirm it is fully open — Then trace the line for kinks behind the appliance.

- Look for a ridge of ice at the fill point above the mould — A frozen fill tube is visible once you know where to look.

- STOP HERE before removing the ice maker or testing the inlet valve — The module and the valve are mains-wired and plumbed, and both need the supply and the water isolated.

Safety
Isolate before you investigate: unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel or grille, because a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. The sealed system is not owner-serviceable at any point — never open it and never vent refrigerant. allowlist:unplug-before-service
When to call a technician
Supply, arm, switch, filter and temperature are all owner work and they resolve most no-ice complaints. The valve and the module are plumbed and mains-wired, so they are not.

Scope: the Elisii machine as a type, diagnosed from outside the sealed system with the door open and the power off. It is not the service sheet for your build and it lists no per-model codes, capacities or part numbers.
