What this usually means
Before replacing anything in an Elisii appliance ice maker, find out whether water reaches the mould at all. A ridge of ice at the fill point answers the question immediately and points at a cause upstream rather than at the module. The ranking below follows the water.
Symptoms, including the ones that mean something else
- A solid slab in the mould instead of cubes — The harvest is failing, or water keeps arriving after the mould is full.
- The mechanism cycles and grinds with nothing to show — A mechanical or harvest fault inside the module.
- The cabinet itself is not as cold as it should be — Fix the cooling first: ice stops long before food is at risk.
- NEAR MISS: ice fused into a block in the bin — Melt and refreeze from lid openings or a warm spell, rather than a production fault.

- Water supply closed, kinked or never connected — First, and by a clear margin: the shut-off valve behind or below the appliance is easy to close and easy to forget, and a line crushed when the cabinet was pushed back does the same thing. Check it before anything inside the cabinet.
- Fill tube or water line frozen — Second: a tube that refreezes after thawing has a cause behind it: a slow fill, a weeping valve, or a lid seal letting humid air in.

Close the water supply before disconnecting any fitting, and dry the floor afterwards: water beside a powered appliance is a shock and slip risk. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel, because a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Where the owner fix ends
Supply, arm, switch, filter and temperature are owner work and they resolve most no-ice complaints. The valve and the module are plumbed and mains-wired, so they are not. A fill tube that refreezes after thawing is worth reporting: something upstream is still wrong.
