The short answer
Confirm the appliance is actually plumbed and find the isolating valve. Then check the shut-off arm or switch, the cabinet temperature and the filter where one is fitted. A line kinked behind the housing is the classic integrated-installation fault.

- No ice and no visible water connection — The appliance may not be plumbed.

- A frozen block in the mould — The fill tube has frozen.

Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel - find the isolating switch first on a built-in machine. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Keep a freezer at or below zero degrees Fahrenheit. Close the water isolating valve before disturbing any fitting, never thaw a fill tube with a flame or a heat gun, and dry any water found in the housing before restoring power.
When to call
Call when water reaches the appliance, the cabinet is genuinely cold and no ice is produced, because the module and the inlet valve are inside the machine. Call a plumber for a leaking or crushed line inside the cabinetry. Say the appliance is integrated: drawing a built-in machine out to reach its plumbing is the bulk of the visit.
