A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Keep a freezer at or below zero degrees Fahrenheit and do not refreeze food that has thawed above refrigerator temperature. Never chip ice with a sharp tool, and dry any water in the housing before restoring power.
When to call
Call when warm water does not clear the drain, because a drain that keeps freezing points at a defrost fault behind the interior panel. Call urgently when the cabinet is warming, since the water is melting food. Mention the appliance is integrated and that water has reached the housing, because the furniture may need to come apart for access.
