The problems these models actually have
- Running warm — contents spoiling or ice cream soft — Keep the refrigerator at 40 °F (4 °C) or below; a cabinet that drifts above it needs the airflow, the seal and the coils checked. Go to Not Cooling or Not Freezing.
- The ice maker on the CRR line — Not every cabinet under the CRR line has one, so check your own model against the table first. Go to Ice Maker Fault.
- Ice or water in the base — Where the water appears — inside the cabinet or on the floor — names the cause. Follow Water Leak from here.

Which problem comes up most, and why
- Temperature faults — Top of the list for the CRR line. It is the only class here where delay is measured in spoiled food.
- Ice production problems — Next, and not far behind. A Comfee cabinet with a warm freezer produces the small-cube complaint, which is why temperature ranks ahead of the mechanism.
- Leaks and pooling water — Third. Clearing the defrost drain is free, and it is the answer more often than not.
- Unusual sounds — Fourth. Compact cabinets sit in tight spaces, and on the CRR line the cabinet touching something is the usual cause.

Where the owner side ends here
On the CRR line the owner side covers the checks that need no tools, and that is a genuinely useful list. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel; a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Call at leisure for noise that comes with a cabinet still holding temperature.
