The platform in short
The variant table below carries nine model numbers under the CRM line, and that list is the whole of what this page claims about which cabinets it speaks for. Cooling and noise bring most owners to a Comfee cabinet of this kind; water and ice faults come next. Every class below carries its observable and its route; the checks themselves are one click down. The models in the table share a prefix and run as one series, so they are close relatives rather than separate designs.
Problems on this platform, and where each one is covered
- Temperature not held — Measure with a thermometer left in the cabinet rather than judging by feel — the difference matters. Where this goes next: the Not Cooling or Not Freezing page for these models, linked under Related.
- Ice that stopped or went wrong — On the models in this table that have one, ice faults are common. Ice Maker Fault has its own page for these models — the step order lives there, not here.
- the CRM line leaking — Condensation on the outside of the cabinet reads like one and is not, and separating the two takes a dry cloth. The ordered checks are on the Water Leak page written for the CRM line.
- New rattles or buzzing from the cabinet — Clear the top, check it is level, and pull it out a little before anything else; none of them needs a tool. The family page on Abnormal Noise or Vibration carries the ordered checks; it is linked below.
The order these come up in, and the reasoning
- Temperature faults — Ranked first here. It carries the longest list of anything here, from a blocked vent to the sealed system, and the food is what is at stake. This family carries no measured component share, so the order below is argued from how the platform is built and what it costs an owner — not counted.
- Ice production problems — Second. It is the class most often reported as broken when nothing in it has failed.
- Leaks on the CRM line — Behind those two. Clearing the defrost drain is free, and it resolves the majority of these.
- Rattles, hums and knocks — The last of the four for the CRM line. A cabinet that is noisy but still cold is an annoyance rather than a failure.

Order argued from the platform, not from a sample — no denominator exists for these models
Documented| Problem class | Relative rank on this family | What the rank rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature faults | highest | what it costs an owner while it waits |
| Ice maker faults | second | applies only to the models that have one |
| Leaks and pooling water | third | damage outside the cabinet, not frequency |
| Noise and vibration | fourth | how often it is reported, and how cheaply it resolves |
What an owner can fix on these models
The free checks resolve a real share of all four classes above. Compressor, defrost heater and control board diagnosis all sit past that line on the CRM line. Call promptly when the cabinet will not hold 40 °F (4 °C) — the contents are the expensive part.
