The short answer
The Beko BFFD line is a French-door platform: two half-width fresh-food doors meeting at a hinged centre mullion, above a pull-out freezer drawer that holds the only evaporator. The fault that dominates it is the mullion - the one moving part of the door seal - and after that the defrost drain behind the freezer drawer.
What you observe
- Frost or water along the inner edges of the two upper doors — The centre mullion is not sealing. It is the signature fault of this platform.
- Fridge warm, freezer still cold — The mullion, or the duct carrying cold up from the freezer coil.
- Ice sheeting under the freezer drawer basket — The defrost drain behind the rear panel has frozen.
- A sharp knock as the second door closes — The mullion folding back - a stiff pivot rather than a broken part.
- A tower of ice under the ice maker — Only on the codes carrying IM: a frozen fill tube.
