Why it happens, in order
- Debris packed into the filter stack — Broken glass, labels and seeds collect in the fine mesh first and the coarse basket second. On the DUT line the whole stack sits directly over the pump inlet, so a partial block starves the pump of flow before it stops it outright. This applies to the whole line rather than to one model.
- A kinked or trapped drain hose — On each of the models covered here, the hose leaves these cabinets high and turns immediately, so pushing the machine back into a tight housing pinches it against the wall. It is the single most common cause that has nothing wrong with the appliance at all.
