Never defeat, tape, bypass or hold a microwave door interlock, and never remove the outer cabinet: the high-voltage capacitor inside stores a lethal charge long after the oven is unplugged, and the interlocks are what stop the oven radiating with the door open. If the door is damaged, distorted or will not close properly, stop using the oven entirely.
