The short answer
Water from an Elisii appliance means one of three things: it is a ventless machine whose condensate is escaping, it is a washer-dryer combination with a plumbing fault, or the water is coming from the machine beside it. Because this badge sells online with no dealer network behind it, the tank seat and the hose route are the first things to examine. A vented dryer has no water in it to leak.
How the fault presents
- A dribble that appears during the cycle and stops afterwards — Active condensate production finding the wrong route out.
- Water behind the machine near the drain hose — A hose that has come loose, kinked or split.
- Water only when the washer beside it has run — Not the dryer: a shared waste or the washer itself.
- NEAR MISS: water appearing only under the washer — Dry the floor and run each machine separately: a shared waste and a stacked pair confuse this constantly.
Causes, most likely first
- Drain hose loose, kinked, split or badly routed — The leading cause here: a hose that has worked loose at either end discharges into the cabinet or onto the floor, and a kinked one backs the water up instead.
- Condensate tank not seated, or its seal damaged — Second: it is the first thing to check because it is free, instant and accounts for a large share of these complaints.
- Condensate pump failing or obstructed — Third: a pump that cannot clear the sump leaves the water to find its own way out, which is usually the front of the cabinet.
The order of checks, and why
- Trace the hose at both ends and check for kinks — Pull the machine out far enough to see the whole run, and check the connection is secure.
- Remove the tank, inspect the seal and refit it firmly — Water in the recess rather than in the base points directly here.
- Listen for the pump and look for standing water in the base — Standing water with a clear filter and hose points at the pump.

- Dry the floor completely and run each machine separately — Establishes which appliance is actually leaking.

Call when the tank is seated, the condenser filter and sump are clear, the drain hose is secure and unkinked, and water still appears. What remains is the pump, an internal hose or the sump itself.
