Straight answer first
Most leaks on a Commercial Care CC washer are at a hose, a cap or a seal, not through the cabinet. On these models the door or lid seal sits close to the load, which matters on the wash stage. Most of what follows is owner work, and the parts that are not are named as such.
What you actually observe
- A leak that only happens on some programmes — Note which programme and how far in — that detail shortens the diagnosis.
- Leaking with big loads and dry with small ones — An overfilled drum pushes water past the seal that a normal load never reaches.
- Leaking mid-cycle rather than at the ends — Note whether the load was large — a packed drum pushes water at the seal.
- Foam escaping rather than water — Compact drums need a fraction of a normal dose.
- NEAR MISS — water stays in rather than coming out — They share a symptom only when a blocked machine overflows.
Ranked causes for these models
- A hardened washer at the tap — Top of the list and the cheapest to fix: new washers are pennies.
- A hose damaged at a bend — Check where it joins the cabinet as well as where it reaches the waste.
- Water backing out of the drawer — It ranks here because the dispenser silts up with detergent and scale and then backs water down the front of the cabinet.
- Water escaping at the door — Clean the fold before condemning the part — debris is the usual cause.
The order to work in
- Wipe the door or lid seal and look in the fold — Fibre and coins in the fold break the seal locally, and cleaning is usually the whole fix.
- Time the leak against the cycle — Use paper towel: it records what a mop destroys.
- Feel around the tap and machine ends while it fills — Do it during the fill step — a dry hose tells you nothing.
- Open the access flap and check the filter cap — Close it hand-tight and test with a drain cycle.
- Test whether the water is actually foam — A dry rinse cycle settles the suds question.
Before you open anything
Safety
Turn the taps off between washes if a supply fitting is weeping and cannot be fixed immediately. Unplug the washer or switch off its breaker before opening the filter flap; a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Dry the floor as you go and get help moving the machine: a wet floor and a heavy cabinet is how people get hurt.

When to call a technician
