Benessi Refrigerator: Not Cooling or Not Freezing
A refrigerator that has stopped holding temperature has almost always lost airflow or lost its defrost cycle, not its refrigerant. Never defeat a door interlock or a safety switch to keep an appliance running, and stop at the first step that would put a meter on live terminals. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. The sealed system is under pressure. Never cut, braze or open a refrigerant line, and never try to add refrigerant to a domestic cabinet.
Where the owner fix ends
Call a technician when the frost returns after a full manual defrost, when the compressor clicks and stops repeatedly, or when the coil is clean, the fans turn and the cabinet still will not reach 40 °F (4 °C).
