Beko Microwave: Door, Latch or Seal Fault
A microwave door is not a lid — it is part of the containment, and its seal, its hinges and its latches are safety components. A door that is bent, that does not close square, or whose seal face is damaged is a reason to take the oven out of service rather than to adjust it. What changes the order on Beko is that the maintenance items the European design exposes to the owner are the ones that block first.

Before you open anything
Safety
Never defeat a door interlock or a safety switch to keep an appliance running, and stop at the first step that would put a meter on live terminals. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. A microwave holds a high-voltage capacitor that can carry a lethal charge after the oven is unplugged. Do not remove the outer cabinet, never defeat a door interlock, and take an oven with a damaged door or seal out of service.
Where the owner fix ends
Call a technician, or retire the oven, for any bent or twisted door, any pitting or burn marks on the sealing face, any cracked door glass, and any broken latch hook. Never adjust, tape or force a microwave door, and never defeat an interlock.
