The short answer
Before deciding a Beko washer is faulty because it is loud, decide whether the noise belongs to the machine or to the room it stands in. The same washer that is barely audible on a concrete floor will rattle a whole room on suspended timber, and no repair changes that.

- Loud downstairs but not in the room with the machine — The floor is transmitting the spin. Not a machine fault.

Check in this order, and why
- Push the top corners to see whether the cabinet rocks — First. Any movement at all means the feet need setting.
- Check what the machine is standing on — Second. A soft mat or a loose floorboard under one foot undoes any levelling.
- Redistribute the load and restart the spin — Third, and it clears the commonest remaining cause.
- Run a short spin with the drum empty — Fourth. A noise that survives an empty drum is not the load.

Unplug the machine before removing any panel, and close both taps before disturbing a hose. Never run a spin with a panel removed to listen. The machine is heavy - get help rather than levering it on a corner, and never tilt it with water still in the drum.

When to call a technician
Call when the base is firm, the feet are set, the load balances and an empty drum still scrapes or rumbles, because both of those live behind the outer tub. Call sooner if the drum can be moved up and down by hand at the door opening.
