The short answer
A Beko BTL washer has no rubber door boot, so the leak that dominates front-loaders does not exist here at all. What leaks instead is plumbing: the supply hoses at the back, the fill hose where it enters the cabinet, and the drain route - plus the standpipe, which is not part of the machine but produces water on the floor all the same.
What you observe
- Water at the back with the machine off — A supply hose or a connection at the tap - the only part always under pressure.
- Water welling up at the standpipe during the pump-out — A blocked standpipe, not a machine fault.
- Water appearing during the fill — The fill hose or the dispenser inside the cabinet.
- Water under the middle after a spin — The tub seal at the base of the wash tub.
- NEAR MISS - the tub stays full — A drainage fault, not a leak; the drainage page covers it.
Causes, most likely first on this family
- Supply hose connection weeping — First, and the only leak that runs with the machine switched off.
- Blocked standpipe overflowing — Second, and very often reported as a washer leak when the house drain is the problem.
- Drain hose connection at the pump — Third, and it only shows during the pump-out.
- Dispenser overflowing inside the cabinet — Fourth, usually from too much product or a blocked dispenser.
- Tub seal at the base of the wash tub — Last, and the one that needs the machine opened.
Check in this order, and why
- Note when the water appears - idle, fill, wash or drain — First, because each window points at a different part and costs nothing to observe.
- Dry the floor, then check behind with the machine idle — Second. Any water there is a supply hose and needs no cycle to prove it.
- Watch the standpipe during a pump-out — Third, and it settles the commonest false alarm on this family outright.
- Pull the dispenser and clear it — Fourth, if the water appears during the fill.
Before you open anything
Safety
Unplug the machine before removing any panel, and close both taps before disturbing a hose. Mop before you work: water and a live appliance on a hard floor is a shock risk. Replace rather than re-use a supply hose whose fitting has cracked, and never run the machine with a panel off to find a leak.

When to call a technician
Call when the hoses and connections are sound, the standpipe is clear and water still appears under the machine after a spin, because that points at the tub seal and the cabinet has to come apart. Call immediately if water is reaching the electrical area at the base.
