The short answer
The Beko BBMB family is two model codes of one large bottom-mount cabinet, differing in finish rather than in machinery, so a noise complaint here has a single short list behind it. What you observe
- A drone or hum that seems to come from the whole cabinet — The back panel resonating with the compressor - almost always levelling or contact.

Causes, most likely first on this family
- Uneven feet on a tall, heavy cabinet — First here, and more so than on smaller bottom-mounts: the mass at the base amplifies a rock that a lighter cabinet would absorb.
- Contact at the back — Second. A long flat rear panel gives tubing and clips many places to rest, and each one is a rattle.
- A compartment fan striking frost — Third, and the only cause on the list that also threatens temperature.
- Hard flooring under a large carcass — Fourth, and not a fault. The same cabinet sounds different on tile and on timber.
- Compressor mounts hardened with age — Last, and the only cause needing the machine opened.
Check in this order, and why
- Press each top corner of the cabinet in turn — First on a cabinet this size, because levelling is the leading cause and hand pressure finds it in seconds.
- Open each compartment while the noise is happening — Second. The door switch cuts the fan, so a noise that stops is the fan.
- Run a hand down the back panel while it runs — Third. Ease any tube or clip that is resting on the carcass away from it.
- Time any knock against the compressor — Fourth, and the step that isolates a mount from everything above.

Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Never defeat a door switch to watch a fan turn - it is an interlock and the blade is unguarded. A cabinet this size is heavy and unstable when tilted, so empty it and get help before adjusting a foot.
