The short answer
Most of what is reported on Avanti STW is one fault wearing two faces: a drain path that is restricted, and a cycle that will not advance because of it. The three STW model numbers share the small top-load prefix and differ in their digits and trailing codes.

- It will not drain — First on Avanti STW: debris reaches the pump by design and the drain path is short.
- The cycle stops early or will not advance — Second, and often the same fault seen twice: a machine that cannot drain will not advance.
