Before you open anything
Safety
Unplug the machine or switch off its breaker before opening the pump filter or any panel — a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. The filter housing holds standing water, so put a tray down first. Never defeat the lid or door interlock.
When to call a technician
Owner work on the V line stops at the cabinet panels: the filter, the impeller by hand, the hose run, the inlet screens, the load and the levelling. Latch, sensing, drive and bearing are not.
