Waterwall reflector error

The Waterwall reflector is Samsung unique feature — a moving deflector plate at the bottom of the tub that sweeps water back and forth. Open the dishwasher and check if the reflector plate moves freely when pushed by hand
Look for utensils, food debris, or broken dish fragments that may have fallen onto the reflector track and jammed the mechanism
If the reflector is clear but does not move during operation, the linear motor that drives the reflector has failed. Access it from below the tub by removing the base plate
Check the reflector position sensor — a Hall effect sensor that tells the control board where the reflector is. A failed sensor causes the same 7E code
Pro Diagnostic Tip
The 7E code only exists on Samsung Waterwall dishwasher models. If your model does not have the Waterwall feature (no moving reflector plate visible at the tub bottom), a 7E display is a control board fault, not a Waterwall issue.
