The short answer
On a GE refrigerator, water appearing where it should not most often comes down to a blocked defrost drain. Causes, most likely first on a GE refrigerator
- Blocked defrost drain — Ranked first here: defrost water that cannot reach the drain pan backs up into the cabinet instead.
