The short answer

Switch the unit off at its breaker before removing any hinge cover, and never chip ice with a screwdriver, knife or any metal tool, because the liner and the evaporator tubing behind it puncture easily and the repair then ends permanently. Empty a loaded cabinet into a cooler before moving it.

Levelling, clearing ice, rearranging baskets and mapping the seal are owner work.
