The short answer
The first thing to rule out on a EuroDesign refrigerator is the top cause below — the door or the cabinet is out of alignment — and the second is the gasket has taken a set, torn or lost its magnet. The ranking that matters

Safety
A refrigerator door is heavier than it looks, especially with a full door bin, and taking one off single-handed is how people get hurt. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel — a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off — and never remove or defeat a door switch to stop an alarm.
The line between a fix and a call
Call a technician when the paper test still fails after cleaning and levelling, when the door has visibly dropped, or when a replacement gasket has not fixed a seal that keeps failing in the same place — that pattern is a hinge or a cabinet fault rather than a rubber one. Call sooner if the cabinet has also started running continuously, because the door has already begun costing you the compressor.
