The short answer
This appliance deserves a different standard from the rest of the kitchen. Arcing, a scorched cavity, a door that no longer closes square, a unit that runs with the door open, or heat and discolouration at the plug are all stop-now symptoms. Because the badge is older than the platform it is printed on, the outlet and the installation are worth checking as well, but only with the circuit off.
