The short version
An Electrolux oven that trips its breaker is usually doing so because an element has failed to earth, and that is a real electrical fault rather than a nuisance trip. Switch the appliance off at the breaker and leave it off: repeated resetting is the one thing not to do here.
The symptoms, including the ones that mean something else

Switch off the breaker at the panel before removing any cover: the supply to a cooking appliance is not an ordinary lighting circuit and the terminal block stays live at the switch. If the appliance is a gas one and you smell gas, do not switch anything on or off, leave the building and call the gas utility or the emergency number from outside. Let the cavity cool fully before touching an element.
