The short answer
On an E Euhomy beverage-and-ice appliance the ice side is a small closed system with a water reservoir, a set of chilled fingers or a mould, and a sensor that decides when the bin is full — and nearly every complaint traces to water, ambient conditions or that sensor rather than to the cooling. Start with water level and room temperature. A unit that makes ice slowly in a hot room is behaving correctly. What you have is a beverage-and-ice cabinet.
What you are seeing
- No ice is produced, or a cycle starts and produces nothing
- Ice comes out cloudy, hollow, thin or fused into a block
- The full indicator stays on with an empty bin, or never comes on

Most likely causes on a compact beverage refrigerator, in order
- Water supply to the reservoir — first, because a low, empty or badly seated reservoir stops the cycle without any indication that the appliance is healthy
- Ambient temperature and the temperature of the water added — these appliances are rated for a room range, and warm water in a warm room stretches a cycle enormously — this is behaviour, not failure, and it is the second most common call
- The ice-full sensor blocked or misread — a beam or lever that a fallen cube, a scoop or condensation is holding — the unit stops making ice while looking perfectly healthy
- Ventilation around the condenser — boxing the unit in raises its internal ambient and does everything the second cause does, but permanently
- Scale on the evaporator fingers or mould — mineral build-up insulates the surface ice forms on, so cubes go thin, cloudy and slow
What to check, and why in this order
- Fill the reservoir to its mark with cold water and run a cycle before anything else — An under-filled reservoir mimics half the faults below it
- Read the room temperature and the water temperature. — If either is outside what the model is rated for, nothing further down the list is meaningful
- Empty the bin completely and wipe the full sensor and its window. This is third — A healthy machine held off by a sensor is indistinguishable from a broken one
Step by step
- Empty and refill the reservoir with cold, clean water to its marked level. — Time: a few minutes.
- Empty the ice bin completely and dry it, then wipe the full-sensor window or lever. — Time: a few minutes.

- Move the unit so it has clear air on all sides and is out of direct sun and away from an oven or a heat vent. — Time: a few minutes.
- Run a full cycle from cold water without opening the lid and note whether cubes form and release. — Time: allow the better part of an hour.
- Stop here if a cycle still does not complete with water present. — Time: none.

Safety
Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Never chip frost off a plate or a mould with anything metal — the tubing behind it is thin and a puncture ends the appliance. Use only descalers intended for food-contact appliances, and rinse thoroughly, because residue ends up in the ice.
When to stop and call a technician
Call for service when a cycle will not complete with water present and the sensors clear, when the compartment cannot be brought to freezing with a clear plate and the dial at its coldest, or when there is water inside the machine bay. Pumps, valves and sealed-system work are not owner jobs.
