The short answer
Water from a Criterion washer is usually escaping at a joint or a seal that an owner can reach rather than from inside the machine. - Look at the filter hatch at the base of the machine for damp or a drip trail — A leak that started right after the filter was last cleaned has named its own cause.

- Close the taps, unscrew each end, fit a fresh washer and tighten by hand plus a quarter turn — Over-tightening splits the fitting, and a split fitting under mains pressure floods a room.

Water on a floor beside a powered appliance is a shock risk, so deal with the power before the puddle. When to call a technician
Call once the hoses, the seal, the drawer and the filter cap are all sound and water is still arriving, because an overfill fault or a tub seal needs the machine opened. Call immediately if you find rust streaks below the drum shaft, since that is a major repair and it decides the repair-or-replace question. Bear in mind when you decide that this is a retailer house brand built by a contract manufacturer, so parts come through the retailer rather than from a brand service network.
