What the FP family is
An FP washer is one platform sold under the model codes in the table below. Its complaints cluster around the drain path, the spin, and the permissions the machine waits on before it will run.
What goes wrong

Most frequent first on the FP family
- It will not drain — Ranked first on the FP family — the pump filter collects what comes out of pockets and is the part owners never open.
- It stalls or will not finish a cycle — Second — most often the same blockage: a machine that cannot drain will not spin, and reports a cycle that never finished.
