What you actually observe
- It stops at the same point every time — Repeatability makes this diagnosable — intermittent faults are far harder.

- Standing water and a paused cycle — That is a drain-side fault rather than a control fault — the machine is refusing to spin on a full drum.
- It sits silent after start — Feel the fill hose for flow — it takes a second.
- Locked shut with the cycle abandoned — Do not force it — forcing costs a part.
- NEAR MISS — it finishes but shakes the room — If the cycle finishes, nothing is stalling.

A paused cycle is still a live machine: power down before you touch anything. A breaker that trips at the same stage each time should not be reset repeatedly. Use the emergency drain hose beside the filter where the model has one.
