What the DWT line is
Every dishwasher with the DWT prefix belongs to one platform. Grouping them is useful because the faults arrive in a consistent order and the access route to each one is the same. Use the list to name the fault, then open the page that covers it properly.

What fails most on this family
- Dishes are coming out dirty or filmed — Dominant on these models, and it is worth knowing that the cause is mechanical far more often than chemical.
- The tub does not empty — Common on these models, and a good share of it is outside the appliance entirely.
- A leak from the door or from under the machine — Reported steadily on these models, and the most commonly missed cause is not a part at all but the wrong detergent.
- The machine will not start a cycle — Fourth on this family, and overwhelmingly a switch, a latch or a setting.
