The short answer
A BIZT compact refrigerator that has been noisy since it arrived is usually carrying a delivery problem rather than a fault: packing left in place, tubing touching the cabinet, or a unit that is simply not level. Check all three before assuming a failed part. A noise that starts months later is more likely to be the cabinet's surroundings.
What you observe

Causes, most likely first on this brand
- Packing material or transit fittings left in place — First on a parcel-delivered appliance, and easy to miss: foam blocks and cable ties behind the cabinet hold tubing against the shell and turn a quiet compressor into a rattle.
- Tubing resting against the cabinet or the compressor shell — Second, and a direct consequence of a cabinet that has been laid over in transit. Metal against metal amplifies an ordinary hum into something that sounds broken.
- The cabinet not level or touching furniture — Third. Compact cabinets are light and get pushed into corners, under desks and against walls, and contact anywhere transmits vibration into the room.
- A failing start relay or compressor — Last. A click every few minutes with silence afterwards is the compressor cutting out, and it comes with a warming cabinet rather than just a noise.
Check in this order, and why
- Look behind and beneath the cabinet for packing — On a recently delivered unit this is the first and most productive check.
- Look for tubing touching the shell or the cabinet — Visible with a torch, and the classic transit consequence.
- Press the panels and check the cabinet is level — A noise that changes under your hand is resonance.
- Only then treat it as a relay or compressor fault — A click with a warming cabinet is a service call.

Before you open anything
Safety
Unplug the cabinet before reaching behind or beneath it — a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off, and the condenser tubing runs hot while the compressor works. If the cabinet has been transported on its side, stand it upright and leave it for several hours before switching it on, so the compressor oil can settle. Never bend or re-route refrigerant tubing yourself.
When to call a technician
Call, or use the supplier's warranty route, when the packing is out, nothing is touching the tubing, the cabinet is level and clear, and the noise persists — and do so promptly on a newly delivered appliance, while the delivery is still recent. A click every few minutes with silence afterwards means the compressor is cutting out and the cabinet will not keep food.
