Bell'O Refrigerator: Ice Maker Fault
An ice maker that has stopped has failed at one of three points: water in, freeze, or eject. Which of the three tells you the cause, and the ice itself — none, small, hollow or fused into a block — usually names it before you open anything. What changes the order on Bell'O is that a compact cabinet installed under a counter lives or dies by its ventilation, and the cooling technology behind the door is not always a compressor.

The order above is specific to this brand rather than generic: an undercounter cabinet rejects its heat through a front grille or a rear gap, so a blocked or absent air path outranks any internal fault — and a thermoelectric unit has no compressor to blame at all.
What to check, and in what order

Before you open anything
Safety
Never defeat a door interlock or a safety switch to keep an appliance running, and stop at the first step that would put a meter on live terminals. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel. A capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off.
Where the owner fix ends
Call a technician when the freezer holds 0 °F (−18 °C), water reaches the dispenser normally, the arm and sensor are clear, and the maker still produces nothing. At that point water and temperature are proven and the fault is in the module or its wiring.
Fans, thermostats, door gaskets and hinges are ordinary parts. A failed thermoelectric module or a sealed-system fault on a cabinet this size is normally the end of the unit.
