The short answer
A Beko BFLB washer that will not finish its cycle is very often being defeated by detergent rather than by a part. These are large-capacity front-loaders, and a large drum invites a large dose - which produces foam the machine then has to rinse away, adding cycle after cycle while the owner watches a timer that refuses to move.
What you observe
- Suds still visible in the window after the wash has ended — Over-dosing: the machine is adding rinses to clear foam.
- The cycle adds time instead of counting down — Waiting on a condition - foam, fill or balance.
- The drum tumbles, pauses and tumbles again without spinning — A load the drum cannot balance.
- The cycle takes far longer than its stated time — Slow filling or slow heating, which extend rather than stop the cycle.

- Too much detergent for a front-load drum — First on the large-capacity codes in this family, because dose is judged by drum size rather than by water volume.
- An unbalanced load the drum cannot distribute — Second, and more likely in a big drum where a single duvet is a realistic load.
- Slow or restricted water fill — Third. A partly closed tap or a blocked inlet filter makes the machine wait.
- Water not reaching temperature — Fourth, and the usual reason a hot cycle runs far longer than stated.
- Door lock not reporting closed — Last, and the one that stops a cycle rather than stretching it.
Check in this order, and why
- Look at the window for foam after the wash — First, because over-dosing is the leading cycle complaint on large front-loaders and it is visible.
- Run a rinse and spin on its own with no detergent — Second. It clears existing foam and tells you whether the machine completes normally without it.
- Add two or three smaller items and restart the spin — Third. It settles a balance problem immediately.
- Check both taps are fully open and the inlet filters clear — Fourth. Slow filling stretches every cycle on this family.
Before you open anything

Unplug the machine before removing any panel, and close the taps before disturbing a hose. Never force the door open mid-cycle: the interlock holds it when the drum is full or still turning. Have towels ready before opening the pump filter, because the water behind it can be hot.

When to call a technician
Call when the dose is right, the load balances, the taps are open and the cycle still stalls, because what remains is a pressure system, a heater, a sensor or a board. Call immediately if the machine trips its breaker at any point in the cycle.
