The heater and its thermal cut-outs are wired in the hottest part of the cabinet, so the wiring insulation there gets brittle with age — inspect it while you are inside, and replace anything cracked rather than taping it.

Call when a timed cycle also halts or the same code returns after a full power-down and a duct clean, because that combination means a thermostat, a sensor circuit or the board itself. Mention whether the timed cycle works: it is the one observation that separates a sensing fault from a control fault, and it can turn a diagnostic visit into a parts visit.
