Ice Maker Fault: the short answer
An ice maker that has stopped is usually being starved of water or of cold, and both of those are diagnosed outside the ice maker itself. The module is the last thing to suspect, not the first.

Unplug the cabinet before you remove any panel or reach behind the toe grille. The sealed system is under pressure and is not an owner-serviceable circuit: never cut, kink, braze or vent a refrigerant line, and never apply heat anywhere near one.
