- Check the filter cover and the door seal — Seat the cover properly and inspect its seal. Then run a finger along the lower third of the door seal, folding it back to find grit, tears and the splits that only open under movement.
- Watch a full cycle with the machine pulled out — Only once the visible causes are clean is it worth the time. With the cabinet clear of the wall and a torch, the pump housing, hose clips and tub can be watched as the cycle works through.
