The short answer
When the Arctic Wind AEDG dryer runs on and on without finishing, the machine is not being told the load is dry - and that almost always comes back to airflow. Moisture that cannot leave keeps the cycle asking for more time.

Power off at the breaker before working and let the cabinet cool: the element housing or the burner area stays hot long after a cycle ends. Clean the sensor strips with a cloth and a little rubbing alcohol, never with an abrasive.
