The line between a fix and a call
Call when the socket is proven live, the taps are open, the lock clicks and the machine still will not begin — at that point the fault is on the control or the harness and both need the cabinet opened. Stop and call at once if the breaker trips when the machine is plugged in, or if there is a scorched smell at the plug.
