The short answer
A new noise on the AQU refrigerators is nearly always something being shaken rather than something failing, and when it happens tells you which. - Evaporator fan blade striking frost — A blade that touches ice makes a hard ticking or a chirp that rises as the fan speeds up with the door closed. It leads because it is the likeliest of the set on these cabinets. One design carries every cabinet size in this family, so it holds across the line.
- Condenser fan blade fouled or out of balance — Because the condenser fan only runs with the compressor, a noise that comes and goes on a long slow cycle usually belongs to it. Second: common enough on these models to come before anything below it.
- Supply tubing pressed against the cabinet — Adding a loop of slack costs nothing and takes away the path the noise was using. Third on the list, where the likelihoods start to fall away.

- Follow the water line from the valve to the cabinet and free it from anything it is pressed against. — Last of the set, and only worth doing once the others are clean.
Power down first, then work
Safety
Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel, because a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Nothing on the sealed system is owner work; those lines are under pressure. Do not reach into a running fan to find a noise. Cut the power, turn the blade by hand, and refit the panel before powering up.
