What the ATW family is

Before you open anything
Safety
Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before removing any panel — a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Drain the machine and close both taps before opening the filter. Leave the lid or door switch exactly as fitted: it stops the drum when the machine is opened.
What is owner work on these models, and what is not
Owner work on these models is the pump filter, the drain hose, the taps and hoses, the door seal and the levelling feet. Anything needing the top or front panel off, a meter on a circuit, or the drum out is a service call. A machine that operates its protective device on switch-on should be left isolated.
