Causes, most likely first on this build
- A blocked defrost drain — Water from every defrost has to leave through one small drain hole at the back of the compartment. When to call a technician
Call when the drain is clear, the cabinet is level and the gasket seals and water is still arriving, or as soon as water appears to be coming from inside a wall of the cabinet. A plumbed fitting that keeps weeping after it has been re-made is also a call, because a slow leak behind an appliance does far more damage than a fast one in the open.
